The article points to answer a fundamental question to Baudelaire's poetics: what is the sense the act of writing has. The concept central to consider, as a device of life and writing, is that of "Anguish", in the Lacanian sense. The texts of biography and writing poetic gather to show the mode in what anguish and creation deploy in parallel and give consistency to a poetic. The poet access a waste position that allows him to define the figure of the artist like that of the one that is not desired for society.
